Calculate a date without a complicated form

Choose a start date, enter a number and see the answer immediately. Switch to Between dates to compare two dates. Business days exclude the weekly days off you choose and, optionally, public holidays. Dates stay in your browser; only calendar preferences are saved on this device.

Holiday calendars and their limits

Canada defaults to British Columbia and offers all 13 provinces and territories plus federally regulated workplaces. Statutory dates are the default; workplace replacement days must be confirmed separately. The US calendar follows standard Monday–Friday federal observed dates. The UK calendar uses regional bank holidays. South Korea includes substitute days, recorded one-off holidays and the 2026 additions of Labour Day and Constitution Day.

Public-holiday coverage is 2024–2030 for Canada, the US and the UK, and 2024–2027 for South Korea. Dates outside the supported years are rejected instead of silently omitting holidays. Future dates are projections under the current rules; later one-off declarations can change them. Calendar-only calculations support 1600–9999. Business-day scans are limited to 36,600 calendar days.

Holiday rules last reviewed: October 30, 2026.

Common questions

Does the start date count?

By default it does not. One day after October 30 is October 31. In Options, include the start date for day counts and business-day counts. A non-working start date never counts as a business day. Between dates always includes the entered end date and follows the selected direction, so reversed business-day intervals can differ when only one endpoint is a working day.

What happens at the end of a month?

Months and years are added directly, not as repeated daily or monthly steps. January 31 plus one month becomes the last day of February. February 29 plus one year becomes February 28 in a non-leap year. Zero leaves the date unchanged.

Are Canadian replacement holidays automatic?

No universal Monday rule applies across Canadian workplaces. The default uses statutory dates, including specific statutory Sunday rules where applicable. You can explicitly assume a replacement on the next working day, but that remains a planning assumption. Quebec also lets you select Good Friday or Easter Monday. Manitoba and Nova Scotia use paid general-holiday lists; their separate Remembrance Day closure rules are not modeled.

Can I use this for a legal or payment deadline?

Use it as a planning aid, not an authoritative deadline decision. Employer closures, collective agreements, banking schedules, cutoff times and legal counting rules may differ. Confirm the applicable calendar and deadline with the responsible organization.
