Add text or a visible signature to a PDF
Sometimes a PDF needs a date, label, note or handwritten-looking signature without changing the original wording. PDF Editor lets you add new text above existing pages and place a visual signature you draw, type or upload as an image. Move and resize added objects, review page placement and export the updated PDF from your browser.
How to add text to a PDF
- Open a supported PDF and navigate to the page you want to update.
- Choose Add text, enter English or Korean text and adjust its font size, color, alignment or position.
- Review the result and export a new PDF. The added text is embedded in the output rather than turning the entire original page into a screenshot.
How to add a visual signature
Choose Add signature, then draw with a pointer or finger, type a name or select a signature image. Place the visible mark on a page and adjust its position and size. This is not a cryptographic or certificate-based digital signature and does not by itself establish that a document meets any legal signing requirement.
Know the editor's limits
The tool adds new content; it does not select and rewrite existing PDF text, perform OCR, fill interactive PDF forms or securely redact underlying information. Password-protected, signed/certified and interactive-form documents are not supported. Keep a copy of the original and check the downloaded document. To rearrange or remove pages instead of adding text, use Organize PDF.
Common questions
Can I change words that are already in the PDF?
No. You can place new text over a page, but existing PDF text is not edited or replaced.
Can I type Korean text into the PDF?
Yes. The editor supports adding Korean and Latin text using an embedded font. Some symbols and writing-direction controls may not be supported.
Is a drawn or typed signature a digital certificate signature?
No. It is a visible mark placed on the page, not certificate-backed digital signing.
Are my PDF and signature images uploaded?
No. The PDF, text and visible signature assets are handled in the browser session. Save the result before leaving.
