Convert image formats without resizing

Some websites, apps and document workflows need a specific image format. Image Converter changes the output format while keeping the image's pixel dimensions and aspect ratio. Convert a single file or a batch; source images are processed in your browser, not uploaded to IT Drawer.

Choose the format you need

  • PNG to WebP or JPG to WebP: useful when you need a WebP copy for a web workflow.
  • WebP to JPG: useful when a service accepts JPEG but not WebP. JPG has no transparent background.
  • WebP to PNG or AVIF to PNG: useful when you need a PNG output; AVIF decoding depends on the browser.
  • PNG to JPG: useful for a JPEG-only workflow. Transparent regions are placed on white.

You can add JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or BMP input files when the browser can decode them. Available output formats are WebP, JPG and PNG only. This tool does not create AVIF, HEIC, GIF or SVG files.

Convert one image or a batch

  1. Choose, drop or paste the images.
  2. Select WebP, JPG or PNG as the output format, with optional quality settings where available.
  3. Download an individual image or the converted batch. For automatic resizing and web compression instead, choose Image Optimizer.

To combine images into one document, use Image to PDF.

Common questions

Does converting to another format reduce the pixel dimensions?

No. Pixel width, height and aspect ratio remain unchanged. The image must still be re-encoded, so file bytes, metadata and visual quality can differ from the source.

What happens if a transparent image is converted to JPG?

JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas are filled with white.

Can I convert JPG or PNG into AVIF?

Not with this converter. AVIF may be accepted as an input when the browser supports it, but output is limited to WebP, JPG or PNG.
